Healer

From Scions of Fate

The Healer has the highest Chi of all the classes and is the only character able to heal or buff other players. The main drawback of the Healer class is its low HP and low defense, forcing many Healers to stand in the back during a fight.

[edit] Builds

There are three main builds for the Healer class: Full Support, Nuker, and Hybrid. The Full Support build deals mainly with supporting other players in a party by casting buffs and heal skills. The Nuker build aims to be a strong alternative to the Bowman for ranged attacks, spending little Chi on heal spells or buffs. The Hybrid build is a combination of the two, being both strong in attack and able to heal/buff when needed.

[edit] Healing

Healing before the second job advancement is a lot of work and requires complete concentration from the Healer. To Heal before the second job, click the Health Bar of the member in your party you wish to heal and cast a Healing skill. To Heal yourself before the second job, click your Health Bar in the upper-left corner and cast a Healing skill. After receiving a second job, Healers can learn the Touch of Regeneration skill. The Touch of Regeneration skill will Auto cast itself, and will heal all members of a party. After purchasing this skill, the task of a Healer becomes significantly easier and more effective.

[edit] Nuker

A Nuker is effectively a Healer that has cast aside his abilities of support in favor of those that damage. In lower levels a Nuker doesn't seem like much of a threat but upon reaching level 70+ they become formidable, rivaling archers for range and power. Nukers lack the ability to combo their attacks but the sheer force of the nukes negates any need for combos. In PvP, Nukers, with a good staff and full Concentrated Chi ability, are a force to be reckoned with as almost all are capable of 'one-hit'ing the opposition, with this power comes huge downfalls:

  • low health (moderate health with full Blood Circulation)
  • low defense
  • low attack power

Although the Healer possesses the highest Skill Attack power of all the classes, their Attack Power is very low. Thus, facing opponents with Skill Defense armor, healers are faced with a huge problem as they cannot resort to regular attacks like the other classes.
