Emeralds are items used for enchanting items such as robes, bracers, boots and armor. Emeralds can be obtained through random drops from monsters. The stronger the monster will generally determine the strength of the emerald.

Dodge[]
Dodge emeralds increase the player's dodge rate. Dodge gems go from 1 to 10 with High Quality going to 15. These gems are generally used for people with dodge builds and are generally cheap.
Health[]
Health emeralds increase the player's maximum health. Health gems go from 5 to 50 increasing in intervals of 5. Health gems are usually used as a cheap alternative to defense gems.
Chi[]
Chi emeralds increase the player's maximum chi. Chi gems go from 5 to 50 increasing in intervals of 5. Chi gems are mainly used by healers as they use up large amounts of Chi.
Defense[]
Defense emeralds increase the player's defense against all forms of attack. They range from 1 to 8 with High Quality going to 10. These gems are the most common gems to be put into armour, due to the high demand for these gems they often sell for large prices.
Skill Defense[]
Skill Defense emeralds increase the player's defense against skill attacks. Skill defense ranges from 2 to 40 with High Quality going to 80. These are useful for PvP battles as they reduce damage from other players' Skill attacks. Skill defense 2 increase often sells for large amounts as they are very rare and considered collectible.
